These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and TrustGraph ("we", "us", "our"), a sole-proprietor venture operating from India. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What TrustGraph does
TrustGraph is a chain-payout referral hiring platform. Companies post job openings with a fixed bounty. The platform ranks candidates among 2nd- and 3rd-degree connections of the company's verified employees. When a candidate is hired, the bounty is split across every person in the introduction chain that led to the hire.
TrustGraph does not:
- Hold funds for longer than is strictly required to pass them between parties (typically 24–48 hours, never beyond regulatory limits).
- Operate as a Payment Aggregator under the RBI Payments and Settlements Systems Act 2007. Funds flow as direct pass-through transfers via UPI; the platform records the obligation and effects the disbursement on behalf of the company.
- Guarantee any hire, intro, or payout outcome. We rank and surface; the parties decide.
2. Eligibility
You may use TrustGraph only if you are at least 18 years of age (DPDP Act 2023 §9 mandates verifiable parental consent for minors; we do not currently support that flow). By creating an account you confirm your age and your authority to enter contracts.
3. Your account
- You may sign up using email + password, LinkedIn OAuth, or Google OAuth.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- One natural person, one account. Synthetic, organisational, or duplicate accounts may be suspended without notice.
- We may verify employer affiliation by emailing a one-time confirmation link to your work address.
4. Bounties and chain payouts
When a hire results from an intro chain, the gross bounty is split as follows (default — companies may configure):
- Originator (the employee who started the chain): 40%
- Final referrer (whoever delivered the candidate): 40%
- Each middle hop: equal share of the remaining 20%
- Platform fee: deducted from the company's payment to TrustGraph, not from the chain payout.
TDS (Section 194H/194O of the Income Tax Act, 1961) is deducted before payout where applicable. You authorise TrustGraph to act as the bookkeeping intermediary for these splits.
5. Disbursement
Payouts are disbursed to the UPI VPA you have verified on the platform. The platform is not a Payment Aggregator and does not pool customer funds in a nodal account. Each disbursement is a discrete pass-through.
If your UPI VPA is incorrect, expired, or unable to receive the disbursement, the obligation remains recorded against you in the platform ledger; you are responsible for updating your VPA promptly.
6. Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload another person's resume or LinkedIn data without their explicit permission.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or programmatically harvest data from the platform.
- Misrepresent your identity, employment, or relationships.
- Solicit candidates outside the platform with the intent of bypassing the bounty split.
- Use the platform for any purpose unlawful under Indian law.
Violations may result in account suspension, forfeiture of unpaid earnings (held back as a contractual remedy), and referral to law enforcement.
7. Privacy and data
Your use of the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect what we need to run hiring chains (resume, professional graph, contact identifiers), we never sell your data, and you can export or erase your data at any time via the in-product Privacy settings.
8. Intellectual property
All platform code, designs, and brand belong to TrustGraph. Content you upload (resume, profile, etc.) remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of operating the platform on your behalf.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability to you is capped at the higher of (a) ₹10,000 or (b) the total platform fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in a new version: string on this document. On your next authenticated visit you will be asked to re-consent before continuing to use the platform.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from /settings/privacy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice. Surviving clauses (Sections 4, 5, 7, 9, 12) outlast termination.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including the Indian Contract Act 1872. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.
