Refund Policy
DRAFT — review with a CA-DPO/lawyer before commercial use. This document captures product intent for design-partner conversations and Razorpay onboarding.
Effective date: 2 May 2026
1. Platform fees
Platform fees charged to companies (the side posting jobs and bounties) are non-refundable once a candidate has been introduced via the platform, except in the cases explicitly listed in §3 below.
Where a company has paid a platform fee but no introduction has yet been made, the fee is refundable in full on written request within 7 days of payment.
2. Bounty disputes
Bounties are paid only on confirmed hire, with a hire defined as the candidate accepting the company's written offer and joining (start-date confirmed by the company).
If a company disputes a hire (e.g., candidate withdraws before joining, candidate fails background check), the bounty is not disbursed and chain participants are notified of the cancellation. The platform does not adjudicate substantive disagreements between company and candidate; they are resolved bilaterally.
3. Exceptions
The platform fee will be refunded (in part or in full, at our discretion) where:
- Failed-hire dispute resolution: the candidate joined and resigned within 90 days for documented reasons attributable to platform error (e.g., misrepresentation in a profile we allowed to persist after notification).
- Platform error: a payout was disbursed to the wrong UPI VPA due to a platform bug, and the funds cannot be recovered.
- Statutory right: any refund mandated by Indian consumer-protection law.
4. How to request a refund
Email grievance@trustgraph.in with:
- Your account email
- Transaction reference (visible in
/settings/payments) - Reason for the refund request and supporting documentation
We will acknowledge within 7 days and respond with a decision within 30 days.
5. Method of refund
Refunds are issued back to the original payment instrument. Bank-credit timelines are determined by Razorpay and your bank; typically 7–10 working days.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version: string at the top reflects the current revision.
